Plasma Hsp90 levels in patients with systemic sclerosis and relation to lung and skin involvement: a cross-sectional and longitudinal study

Hana Storkanova et al.

Summary: According to the study, plasma levels of Hsp90 are increased in patients with systemic sclerosis compared to healthy controls, and are associated with increased inflammatory activity, worsened lung function, and extent of skin involvement in patients with diffuse cutaneous systemic sclerosis. In patients with systemic sclerosis-associated interstitial lung disease treated with cyclophosphamide, baseline Hsp90 levels can predict changes in DLCO over 12 months of therapy.

Precision test of statistical dynamics with state-to-state ultracold chemistry

Yu Liu et al.

Summary: Chemical reactions at ultralow temperatures provide an ideal platform for testing quantum chemistry and scattering theories. By reporting the full product state distribution for the reaction 2KRb -> K-2 + Rb-2, this study demonstrates experimental control over initial quantum degrees of freedom and reveals deviations from statistical theory in the state-pairs observed. The completeness of the measurements sets a benchmark for advancing quantum dynamics calculations.

Collisions of ultracold molecules in bright and dark optical dipole traps

Roman Bause et al.

Summary: Understanding collisions between ultracold molecules is crucial for stable molecular quantum gases and quantum engineering. Testing the hypothesis of light-induced collisional loss using low light intensities revealed discrepancies with theoretical predictions, highlighting the need for further research in this area.
