Optimal energy conversion through antiadiabatic driving breaking time-reversal symmetry

Summary: This study focuses on the thermodynamic properties of an isothermal heat engine, showing that approaching the ideal energy conversion efficiency is possible in the antiadiabatic limit with finite output power and vanishing relative power fluctuations. The balance between energy conversion efficiency, output power, and power fluctuations is achieved in this heat engine, thanks to the breaking of time-reversal symmetry.
