It utilizes a global approach to optimize all parameters simultaneously, extending existing efficient variational methods and outperforming existing global optimization algorithms based on the time-dependent variational principle which are unsuitable for large parameterized quantum circuits due to a demanding quadratic scaling with parameter numbers.
