Interface-Engineered Dendrite-Free Anode and Ultraconductive Cathode for Durable and High-Rate Fiber Zn Dual-Ion Microbattery

Summary: The fiber-shaped Zn-ion microbattery faces challenges such as dendrite growth on Zn anodes and low electrical conductivity of cathodes. By sputtering a nano-thin conductive carbon layer on Zn anodes and using a dual-conductive polymer strategy for cathodes, these challenges are effectively addressed. The resulting FZMB demonstrates excellent stability and supercapacitor-level rate performance, showing great practical application potential.

High-rate supercapacitor using magnetically aligned graphene

Summary: Graphene has been widely used as an electrode material for supercapacitors, but the parallel-stacked layers often result in inefficient ion diffusion and electron transfers. By aligning reduced graphene oxide (rGO) using a magnetic field, the electrode showed improved specific capacitance and performance, breaking through the limitations of traditional supercapacitors. This study highlights the potential of aligned rGO to increase the charge/discharge rate and power density of supercapacitors significantly.

Self-powered trajectory-tracking microsystem based on electrode-miniaturized triboelectric nanogenerator

Summary: This study explores a novel configuration of TENG array based on the electrode-miniaturized strategy, comprehensively investigating its effects on electrical output, optical transmittance, and signal interference. The results show that electrode miniaturization has little impact on the electrical output of TENG, while providing higher light transmittance and lower signal interference, making it suitable for self-powered smart microsystems, particularly in applications requiring excellent optical properties.
