The mental health status of students has worsened compared to pre-pandemic levels.

Correlation between academic self-efficacy and burnout originating from distance learning among nursing students in Indonesia during the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic

Results showed that most students had a moderate level of academic self-efficacy, but 46.4% experienced severe burnout, which was closely related to exhaustion. Effective interventions to improve academic self-efficacy may help reduce burnout levels and enhance students' confidence in the challenging environment of distance learning.

The Psychological and Academic Effects of Studying From the Home and Host Country During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Summary: This study investigated the psychological and academic effects of studying from home versus in the host country during the COVID-19 pandemic among international students at the University of Warsaw, Poland. The country-of-residence variable did not have a significant impact on most psychological and academic variables, but significant differences were observed in two academic variables. Students who returned to their home country found online communication with peers more beneficial to their learning experience and showed higher academic adjustment compared to those who stayed in the host country.

Online-Learning due to COVID-19 Improved Mental Health Among Medical Students
