Synthesis of highly fluorescent carbon dots as a dual-excitation rationmetric fluorescent probe for the fast detection of chlorogenic acid

Qingshi Liu et al.

Summary: Nitrogen and sulfur co-doped carbon dots (N,S-CDs) with enhanced photoluminescence were obtained by hydrothermal reactions using citric acid/sulfamic acid and PEI as precursors. The aggregated N,S-CDs solution with good water solubility and fluorescence stability showed potential for constructing a dualexcitation ratiometric fluorescent probe.

All-Solid-State Potentiometric Ion-Sensors Based on Tailored Imprinted Polymers for Pholcodine Determination

Hisham S. M. Abd-Rabboh et al.

Summary: The application of ion-selective electrodes in pharmaceutical analysis has expanded due to their high selectivity, low cost, and sensitivity. All-solid-state potentiometric selective electrodes designed are cost-effective, reliable, and robust, and have been successfully used for pholcodine determination. The sensors exhibit high sensitivity and can be used for fast and low-cost assessment of pholcodine levels.

Electrochemical Determination of Chlorogenic Acid in Nutraceuticals Using Voltammetric Sensors Based on Screen-Printed Carbon Electrode Modified with Graphene and Gold Nanoparticles

Irina-Georgiana Munteanu et al.

Summary: This study investigated the electrochemical properties of three screen-printed electrodes using different materials for the detection of chlorogenic acid, showing that graphene and gold nanoparticles modification can significantly improve sensitivity and reversibility of the electrodes. The method developed can be applied for the determination of chlorogenic acid in real samples.
