Wiedemann-Franz laws and Sl(2, Z) duality in AdS/CMT holographic duals and one-dimensional effective actions for them

Dmitry Melnikov et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the Wiedemann-Franz laws for transport in 2+1 dimensions and the action of Sl(2, Z) on this transport. It is found that Sl(2, Z) restricts the flow of conductivities and a generalization of effective action can describe vortex conduction and integer quantum Hall effect. The calculated transport coefficients can be matched at large q.

Wiedemann-Franz Law for Massless Dirac Fermions with Implications for Graphene

Adam Rycerz

Summary: The 2016 experiment by Crossno et al. found that the thermal conductivity of graphene violates the WF law at low temperatures, attributed to interactions between particles. Even at temperatures of few- or sub-kelvin, significantly enhanced thermal conductivity should appear, even when neglecting the role of interactions. Numerical results obtained within the Landauer-Buttiker formalism also support this finding.

Time-reversal odd transport in bilayer graphene: Hall conductivity and Hall viscosity

Wei-Han Hsiao

Summary: We investigated the time-reversal odd dynamics of bilayer graphene at low energies in the quantum Hall regime, presenting a generating functional for the effective action. Additionally, we calculated the Hall viscosity and derived a specific relationship with the q(2) coefficient of the Hall conductivity, reminiscent of the Hoyos-Son relation in Galilean invariant systems.
