Photoproduction of strange hidden-charm and hidden-bottom states

Xu Cao et al.

Summary: The BESIII collaboration recently discovered a charged strange hidden-charm state Zcs(3985) in the Ds-D0+Ds-D0 spectrum. They studied the photoproduction of these exotic states and found that the maximal photoproduction cross section of the strange partner is around 1-2 orders of magnitude smaller than that of the corresponding non-strange states. The possibility of searching for them in future electron-ion colliders (EIC) is briefly discussed.

Observation of a Near-Threshold Structure in the K+ Recoil-Mass Spectra in e+ e- → K+ (Ds- D*0 + Ds* - D0)

M. Ablikim et al.

Summary: In this study, an excess of events near the D-s(-) D*(0) and D-s*(-) D-0 mass thresholds was observed in the K+ recoil-mass spectrum at a center-of-mass energy of 4.681 GeV. A resonance hypothesis with a charged hidden-charm tetraquark decaying into D-s(-) D*(0) and D-s*(-) D-0 was proposed based on the observed structure, but further exploration with more statistics is needed to verify its properties.

The Zcs(3985) as a threshold effect from the (D)over-bars*D + (D)over-barsD* interaction

Natsumi Ikeno et al.

Summary: The study shows that the combination of Ds-D*(0) + D-s*D--(0) couples to J/psi K- and K*(-)eta(c), while the combination of Ds-D*(0) - D-s*D--(0) does not. The coupled channels help to accumulate strength in the reaction, which is crucial for interpreting the experimental results.

Evidence of a J/ψΛ structure and observation of excited Ξ- states in the Ξb- → J/ψΛK- decay

R. Aaij et al.

Summary: The first evidence of a structure in the J/psi Lambda invariant mass distribution is obtained from an amplitude analysis of Xi(-)(b) -> J/psi Lambda K- decays. The observed structure is consistent with being due to a charmonium pentaquark with strangeness. Additionally, narrow excited Xi(-) states have been seen for the first time in a Xi(-)(b) decay.

These states include the significant Z(cs)(4000)+ and a new 1(+) X(4685) state. Charmonium-like resonances with JPC=0++, 2++ in coupled D(D)over-bar, Ds(D)over-bars scattering on the lattice

Sasa Prelovsek et al.

Summary: The lattice investigation reveals the existence of three charmonium-like states with J(PC) = 0(++) in a specific energy region, as well as a new D (D) over bar bound state and a D (D) over bar resonance possibly related to chi(c0)(3860). Additionally, a 0(++) resonance with a strong coupling to D-s(D) over bar (s) and weak coupling to D (D) over bar is identified, possibly linked to the narrow X(3915)/chi(c0)(3930).

Unveiling the K1(1270) double-pole structure in the (B)over-bar → J/ψρ(K)over-bar and (B)over-bar → J/ψ(K)over-bar*π decays

J. M. Dias et al.

Summary: By theoretically investigating the double-pole structure of the K-1 (1270) resonance in pseudoscalar-vector meson spectra, this study addresses the final-state interactions between the P and V mesons in (B) over bar -> J/psi rho(K) over bar and (B) over bar -> J/psi(K) over bar*pi weak decays. The dynamically generated K-1 (1270) resonance through these interactions influences the shape of invariant mass distributions, providing insights for future experiments probing PV spectra in these decays.

Summary: Quantum chromodynamics reveals various symmetries that can predict new hadrons from existing ones. The spin-parities of these states are not yet known, but one is assumed to be 1/2- and the other two are of unknown spin-parity. Decoding the nature of Zcs(3985) and establishing the spectrum of charged heavy quarkoniumlike states in chiral effective field theory

Bo Wang et al.

Summary: In this study, the charmoniumlike state Z(cs)(3985) is analyzed within the framework of chiral effective field theory, showing consistent mass, width, and event distributions with experimental measurements. The interaction of the (D) over bar (s) D*/ (D) over bar (s)* D system is calculated up to next-to-leading order, supporting the Z(cs)(3985) as a molecular resonance with the same origin as other charged heavy quarkonium-like states. Precise predictions for the parameters of unobserved states in various systems are made, establishing a complete spectrum of charged charmoniumlike and bottomoniumlike states with specific quantum numbers.
