In this study, the wavelength-dependent linear photoemission from W(310)-nanotips operated in a Schottky-type emitter assembly was investigated. Fowler-Nordheim plots of the electron current were recorded for both static field emission and photoemission with varying laser wavelengths. One-photon photoassisted field emission was observed for all wavelengths, as demonstrated by the perfect agreement of the experimental data with Fowler-Nordheim tunneling theory.
