Effects of manipulating body temperature on sleep in postmenopausal women

Summary: This study showed that manipulating body temperature during sleep using a high heat capacity mattress can increase SWS and SO activity, reduce core body temperature, and lower heart rate in postmenopausal women. These findings suggest that this approach may be beneficial in enhancing SWS sleep quality in this population.
