The study reports the numerical simulation of merging five raised-cosine pulses with spectral separation of 0.1 nm into a single compressed pulse with a compression factor of approximately 12.8 in a dispersion-decreasing nonlinear fiber, which accounts for almost 50% of the total input energy.
