Local Concordance and Some Applications

Silvia Terzi et al.

Summary: This paper presents a counting-based approach to detect positive association among the single components of multidimensional phenomena, particularly in well-being indicators. By introducing the concept of local concordance and deriving a local concordance coefficient and curve, the study aims to measure the concentration of attributes in different aspects of well-being indicators. The approach is applied to investigate the distribution of social vulnerability in different areas within the same region.
