Validating an Efficient Measure of Responsivity in Father-Child Interactions

Nina Sokolovic et al.

Summary: This study validated an 8-minute observational measure of responsivity in father-child interactions and found it to have strong internal consistency and interrater reliability. The measure's validity was demonstrated through its association with other parenting measures and sociodemographic characteristics, but paternal responsivity was not found to be associated with children's outcomes.
