By incorporating experimentally proven biological features, the DACSN P systems reduce computational complexity of the soma and provide stable firing patterns, using minimal number of synapses and neurons. The computational capabilities of DACSN P systems are studied, demonstrating universality in both number-accepting/generating tasks.
