Gas geology is an important factor in mine safety production. This study analyzed the gas content and coal seam structure of Weijiadi Mine through experiments and concluded that there are certain distribution patterns of gas content in different coal seams and that geological structures have an impact on gas content.
Gas geology is one of the important factors that affect mine safety production. The occurrence and migration of gas in coal seams are controlled by the effects of geological laws. The paper conducts gas content measurement experiments and coal seam micro -component testing experiments to systematically analyze Weijiadi Mine, The coal seam structure, research on the law of gas occurrence. The following conclusions are reached: the gas content of the first coal seam in Weijiadi Coal Mine is from small to large near the F3 fault; the gas content of the third coal seam is higher in the south of the F3 fault and lower in the north, and the gas content of the shallow to deep coal seams has reasons small to big trend. In terms of regional geological structure, the Weijiadi Minefield is located in the compound part of five structural systems, namely the Paleo-Hexi System, the East-West Structural Belt, the Qilu System, the Longxi System and the Hexi System. The occurrence of gas has a greater impact, and the main component of coal seam gas is nitrogen -methane. The gas occurrence law of the first coal and the third coal shows that the methane in the first coal bed is relatively high, and the gas content is high in the areas with particularly complex coal seam structure and thick coal seams. In the structural influence 7011C of the F1-2 fault group and the F3 and F48 fault areas, structural coal.
