Availability analysis of GNSS signals above GNSSs constellation

Jie Yang et al.

Summary: This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of GNSS signals in high-altitude space, covering visibility, geometric configuration, and Doppler shift range. The study shows that improving the visibility of satellites through signal combination and multi-constellation compatibility can enhance the availability of GNSS signals in high-altitude space.

Analysis of BDS/GPS Signals' Characteristics and Navigation Accuracy for a Geostationary Satellite

Meng Wang et al.

Summary: The use of BDS significantly increases the number of available navigation satellites and improves the PDOP. When combined with GPS, the RMS of single-epoch position accuracy can improve from 32.1 m to 16.5 m, and velocity accuracy can improve from 0.238 m/s to 0.165 m/s. Using GPS and BDS combinations yields an RMS of real-time orbit determination position accuracy at 5.55 m and velocity accuracy at 0.697 mm/s.

GNSS-based orbit determination method and flight performance for geostationary satellites

Meng Wang et al.

Summary: The study investigates the GNSS signal characteristics and navigation performance of the GEO satellite TJS-2 through analysis of flight data. By comparing with two reference orbits, it is found that the position accuracy is improved after optimizing the orbit determination filter parameters.

Performance evaluation of multi-GNSSs navigation in super synchronous transfer orbit and geostationary earth orbit

Tao Shi et al.

Summary: The paper evaluated the navigation performance based on the latest BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS), Global Positioning System (GPS), Galileo Navigation Satellite System (Galileo) and GLONASS satellites in 2020, with results showing that BDS-3 satellites can effectively improve the navigation performance of high orbit spacecrafts, especially in the entire launch process of a typical GEO spacecraft.
