Measurement of the energy dependence of the e+ e- → B(B)over-bar, B (B)over-bar* and B*(B)over-bar* exclusive cross sections

Coulomb effects in the decays Υ(4S) → B(B)over-bar

Summary: A simple solvable model was proposed to describe the decays Upsilon(4S) -> B-0(B) over bar (0) and Upsilon(4S) -> B+B-, with predictions matching experimental data. Coulomb effects in the spectra of these decays were analyzed, revealing the lack of fulfillment of the factorization assumption for Coulomb effects. The Coulomb interaction caused differences in peak positions and heights between charged and neutral modes, resulting in a nontrivial energy-dependent ratio of decay probabilities.
