Summary: The existence of chemical weapons poses a significant threat in the modern world, requiring advanced chemical sensors and detection systems for effective monitoring and prevention. Researchers have been exploring novel sensing techniques using supramolecular tools to achieve high specificity, sensitivity, and portability in detecting chemical warfare agents. Challenges remain in the future development of highly specific chemical sensing technologies for the detection and prevention of chemical weapons.
