Probing the Contribution of Lateral Pathways to Out-of-Plane Charge Transport in Organic Bulk Heterojunctions

Pravini S. Fernando et al.

Summary: This study introduces a method based on conductive atomic force microscopy to quantify lateral current spreading during out-of-plane charge transport in organic solar cells. The results show that BHJ phase separation, composition, and molecule type play important roles in lateral spreading.
