Performance of two-phase loop thermosiphon with graphene nanofluid

Yogesh Fulpagare et al.

Summary: In this research, thermal resistance of a modified inflated aluminium plate with a closed thermosiphon under natural convection was tested, finding that a 70% filling ratio offers the best heat transfer performance. As the power increases, the thermal resistance decreases, and uniform heat source performs better than non-uniform heat source.

Summary: The preparation and utilization of hybrid nanofluids in thermal systems have gained popularity for their improved thermophysical properties. Compared to unary nanofluids, hybrid nanofluids enhance heat transfer performance by removing the disadvantages of individual components. Experimental results demonstrate that the hybrid utilization of nanoparticles significantly improves heat pipe characteristics, with a maximum decrease of 40.79% in thermal resistance.

Performance analysis of thermosyphon heat pipe using aluminum oxide nanofluid under various angles of inclination

Arun Kurien Reji et al.

Summary: Heat pipes are devices that transfer heat using the principles of evaporation and condensation, with thermosyphon heat pipes relying on gravity to transport condensate back to the evaporator. While conventional fluids are typically used in heat pipes, nanofluids can enhance heat transfer rates due to their enriched thermal properties. Experimental results show a 41% increase in performance when using nanofluids compared to distilled water, with a peak efficiency of 88% at a 60-degree inclination angle.
