Predictors of persistent inflammation in familial Mediterranean fever and association with damage

Hakan Babaoglu et al.

Summary: This study identified predictors of persistent inflammation in adult FMF patients for the first time, and found that persistent inflammation is a major cause of insidious damage. Male gender, lower education levels, and the presence of other inflammatory comorbidities were found to be more likely to lead to persistent inflammation.
