Dynamics of the magnetocaloric effect in cyclic magnetic fields in Ni50Mn35Al2Sn13 ribbon sample

Summary: In a cyclic magnetic field of 1.8 T, the dynamics of the magnetocaloric effect in Ni50Mn35Al2Sn13 ribbon sample was studied, and it was found that the value of the inverse effect near the magnetostructural phase transition depends on the rate of temperature change. The higher the scanning rate, the greater the value of the magnetocaloric effect, while at slower rates, different types of MCE are observed.
