A New Approach to Designing High-Sensitivity Low-Dimensional Photodetectors

Mohsen Rezaei et al.

Summary: Photodetectors made from low-dimensional materials, such as quantum dots, nanowires, and two-dimensional materials, show great promise due to their high responsivities. However, it is important to note that maximizing internal gain may compromise detector performance at low light levels. The sensitivity of most low-dimensional photodetectors with internal gain is determined by junction capacitance, giving them advantages over bulk semiconductors in achieving high sensitivity.

Improved Intra-Pixel Sensitivity Characterization Based on Diffusion and Coupling Model for Infrared Focal Plane Array Photodetector

Li Zhong et al.

Summary: In this study, an improved IPS characterization method based on the diffusion and coupling physical (DCP) model was proposed, leading to higher accuracy in IPS characterization. Experimental results showed that the IPS characterization based on DCP model had lower error compared to the traditional DSPR model.
