High-performance Te-doped p-type MoS2 transistor with high-K insulators

Guen Hyung Oh et al.

Summary: This study demonstrates the n-type conductivity suppressing property of tellurium (Te)-doped multilayer MoS2 films, and improved device performance through doping p-type MoS2 transistors with back-gate structure and high-K dielectric gate insulators. The enhancements are attributed to the charge screening effect associated with high-K dielectrics and low Schottky barrier height.

Greater than 10 cm2 V-1 s-1: A breakthrough of organic semiconductors for field-effect transistors

Peng Hu et al.

Summary: Organic semiconductors are attracting attention for their advantages such as low-temperature processing ability, low fabrication cost, and flexibility. Studying high charge carrier mobility organic semiconductors with a mobility higher than 10 cm(2) V-1 s(-1) is crucial for future commercial microelectronic applications. Progress in discovering novel organic molecules and improving device fabrication technology has led to some organic molecules breaking existing knowledge limitations and demonstrating very high mobilities.
