3D simulation of machining parameters of electrochemical micromachining for stainless steel (316L)

Abhinav Kumar et al.

Summary: Electrochemical micromachining (EMM) involves material removal through anodic dissolution, with parameters such as voltage and electrolyte concentration affecting the process. Simulation studies can help predict these parameters more accurately and save time. Experimental validation shows that increasing voltage and electrolyte concentration lead to higher material removal rates, while increasing the interelectrode gap decreases current density.
