Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) is a commonly used flexible piezoelectric material, but its piezoelectric performance is relatively weak. In order to improve performance, researchers prepared ZnO nanoarrays/PVDF-HFP hybrid piezoelectric nanogenerators. The results showed that adjusting the hydrothermal time could maximize performance improvement by obtaining uniform and compact ZnO nanoarrays. The hybrid nanogenerators have potential applications in touch alarm systems and finger bending detection.
Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) is the most widely used flexible piezoelectric material, but its piezoelectric performance is relatively weak compared with piezoelectric ceramics. In order to improve the piezoelectric properties, ZnO nanoarrays/polyvinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropylene(PVDF-HFP) hybrid piezoelectric nanogenerators were prepared. ZnO nanoarrays were adjustable with different hydrothermal time. The results showed that when the hydrothermal time was 12 h, the length of ZnO nanoarrays with uniform and compact arrangement was about 4 mu m to 5 mu m, which maximized the performance improvement of the nanogenerators. The applications of the hybrid nanogenerators were explored in touch alarm system and finger bending detection.
