Convective flow of a fractional second grade fluid containing different nanoparticles with Prabhakar fractional derivative subject to non-uniform velocity at the boundary

Abdul Basit et al.

Summary: This article investigates the convective flow of improved nanofluid along an erect heated plate based on Prabhakar-like energy transport. The governing equations of this mathematical model are obtained using Prabhakar fractional derivative. The Laplace transform method is applied to obtain the generalized results for dimensionless velocity and temperature profiles. The study finds that the temperature of Ag - H2O nanoparticles is higher than Cu - H2O and TiO2 - H2O nanoparticles, while the velocity shows the opposite trend. Moreover, increasing the values of fractional parameters can enhance the temperature and velocity.

Summary: With improved characteristics and thermal stability, nanoparticles have shown significant potential in engineering and industrial processes. This investigation focuses on mixed convection flow of different nanoparticles on inclined surfaces, considering Newtonian heating and slip effects. Experimental results reveal that the interaction of thermal rate of change is more significant for aluminum oxide, and temperature and velocity profiles can be enhanced by varying the numerical value of the fractional constraint at a large time scale.

Thermal outcomes for blood-based carbon nanotubes (SWCNT and MWCNTs) with Newtonian heating by using new Prabhakar fractional derivative simulations

Summary: This study presents the mixed convection flow of carbon nanotubes due to a porous vertical plate using fractional simulations. The thermal aspect of the hybrid nanofluid model is observed using single and multi-wall carbon nanotubes, treating blood as the base material. The Casson fluid model is used to predict the shear thinning and thickening aspect of blood. The results show that the Prabhakar fractional derivative simulations effectively analyze the physical pattern of the problem, and increasing the volume fraction and fractional parameters reduces the thermal profile.

Summary: This article examines the effects of Newtonian heating and wall slip condition on temperature in unsteady magnetohydrodynamic flows near an infinitely vertical plate. A new mathematical fractional model is formulated based on the Prabhakar fractional operator, and exact solutions for velocity, concentration, and energy equations are obtained using the Laplace transformation method. The physical impacts of different parameters are studied and demonstrated graphically, showing that Maxwell fluid has faster movement compared to viscous fluid.

Fractional order simulations for the thermal determination of graphene oxide (GO) and molybdenum disulphide (MoS2) nanoparticles with slip effects

Ali Raza et al.

Summary: This study investigates the mixed free convection Casson nanofluid over a vertical plate with heat transfer effects, considering thermal radiative phenomenon. Thermal enhancement is predicted using engine oil with graphene oxide and molybdenum disulphide nanoparticles. Fractional model is constructed using Atangana-Baleanu and Caputo-Fabrizio time-fractional derivatives, showing stable simulations with AB-time fractional approach. Velocity profile decreases with increasing fractional parameters, while Grashof number results in an increased change in velocity. Nanoparticles temperature remains relatively stable due to volume fraction coefficient.

Summary: In this study, the unsteady natural convection flow of Maxwell fluid over an infinite plate was investigated using fractional derivatives, taking into account various factors such as slip conditions, Newtonian heating effect, MHD, and radiation. The use of CF fractional derivatives led to temperature and velocity profiles showing a declining trend compared to AB fractional derivatives. Moreover, the velocity and temperature fields decayed by adjusting the fractional parameters in both AB and CF cases.
