Educators have found that students often feel overwhelmed, hopeless, anxious, angry, sad and frustrated when facing ecological crises, and strategies to address these emotions include encouraging emotional engagement, validating those emotions, supporting students in navigating and responding to them, and empowering them to take climate action.
