A novel MOF nanofilm arrays (NiCoBDC-Fc) were grown on Ni foam using a multiscale structural regulation strategy. The morphology of NiBDC was regulated through the introduction of metal doping and defects, which increased the exposure of electrochemically active sites and adjusted the electronic structure of the Ni active center, thereby enhancing the OER performance of NiCoBDC-Fc/NF.
