Summary: Three complexes have been synthesized and characterized, and their crystal structures along with the Schiff base were determined by X-ray diffraction. The high-spin state of the [FeLCl]Cl•H2O complex and the low-spin state of Co(III) in the other complexes were confirmed through magnetic investigations. Redox potentials and magnetic properties were investigated, providing important insights for further studies on these complexes.
