Double-quantum-zero-quantum 2D coherent spectroscopy reveals quantum coherence between collective states in an atomic vapor

ShaoGang Yu et al.

Summary: We report a novel double-quantum-zero-quantum two-dimensional coherent spectroscopy (2DCS) that allows direct detection of quantum coherence between multiparticle collective states. This technique provides a new avenue for studying the coherent coupling of highly excited states and many-body properties.

Collective Resonance of D States in Rubidium Atoms Probed by Optical Two-Dimensional Coherent Spectroscopy

Danfu Liang et al.

Summary: This article reports the observation of collective resonance of rubidium atoms in a higher excited state, in addition to the first excited state, through spectroscopy. The collective resonance is excited using a double-quantum four-pulse excitation sequence. The experimental technique provides a new approach for preparing and probing collective resonances of atoms in highly excited states.

Coherent vibrational dynamics reveals lattice anharmonicity in organic-inorganic halide perovskite nanocrystals

Tushar Debnath et al.

Summary: The study reveals that halide ions in organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites can influence the lattice vibrations of nanocrystals, leading to different coherent vibronic wave packets generation. Additionally, it shows that the PbI64- unit in FAPbI(3) nanocrystals can vibrate more freely compared to FAPbBr(3) nanocrystals, resulting in higher harmonics of fundamental modes. This intrinsic anharmonicity in the lead-halide framework plays a key role in the stability and energy transfer of perovskites.

Optical two-dimensional coherent spectroscopy of many-body dipole-dipole interactions and correlations in atomic vapors

Danfu Liang et al.

Summary: Optical two-dimensional coherent spectroscopy is a powerful tool for studying many-body interactions and correlations in atomic ensembles, providing sensitive and background-free detection of weak dipole-dipole interactions and multi-atom states. This technique has the potential to measure many-body effects in cold atoms and other atomic/molecular systems.
