Crocin enhances hypothermia therapy in hypoxic ischemia-induced brain injury in mice

Anqi Huang et al.

Summary: The study found that crocin treatment alone can reduce inflammation and brain damage after hypoxia-ischemia. Compared with single treatment, the combined treatment of crocin and hypothermia has a better therapeutic effect, reducing brain damage, decreasing inflammatory and oxidative responses, and improving functional outcomes.

Effects of quercetin on exercise performance, physical activity and blood supply in a novel model of sustained hind-limb ischaemia

J. Phie et al.

Summary: The study found that quercetin did not improve exercise performance, physical activity, or limb blood supply in mice with sustained hind-limb ischaemia, suggesting that it is unlikely to be an effective treatment for PAD.
