Summary: The study evaluated the impact of a multimodal IPC strategy for COVID-19 containment on hospital-acquired infections. Enhanced IPC measures successfully contained health care-associated respiratory-viral infections (HA-RVI) rates. MRSA acquisition and central-line-associated bloodstream infection rates declined significantly, while rates of other HAIs remained stable.
