Current diagnostics for chronic enteropathies in dogs

Karin Allenspach et al.

Summary: Chronic enteropathies in dogs can be classified into three major subgroups based on treatment response: food-responsive disease, antibiotic-responsive disease, and steroid-responsive disease. Diagnosing canine CE involves excluding other possible causes of chronic diarrhea, and novel diagnostic tests aim to predict treatment responses accurately.
