Unitary symmetry-protected non-Abelian statistics of Majorana modes

Jian-Song Hong et al.

Summary: This article reveals the unitary symmetry-protected non-Abelian statistics of Majorana zero modes (MZMs) and proposes an experimental realization method. By studying spin-triplet TSC, it is demonstrated that the unitary symmetry-protected non-Abelian statistics can be verified in a quantum anomalous Hall insulator.

Summary: The study shows that after the interchange of vortices, the lowest vortex-bound states accumulate a geometric phase, while errors caused by dynamical phases are negligibly small, regardless of interactions of MZMs.
