Fe doped NiS nanosheet arrays grown on carbon fiber paper for a highly efficient electrocatalytic oxygen evolution reaction

Wenrui Li et al.

Summary: Efficient and low-cost Fe-doped NiS nanosheets grown on conductive carbon fiber paper were fabricated through a two-step hydrothermal process for enhanced oxygen evolution reaction (OER) performance. The Fe-NiS@CFP catalyst exhibited superior electrocatalytic activity with low internal and interface charge-transfer resistance, leading to an overpotential of 275 mV at 100 mA cm(-2) and stable performance for at least 50 hours as an OER electrode. This work provides insights into the design and fabrication of non-noble metal sulfide electrocatalysts.

Recent Progress in Transition-Metal Sulfide Catalyst Regulation for Improved Oxygen Evolution Reaction

Runze He et al.

Summary: This article systematically and comprehensively reviews the recent advances in electrocatalytic performance and optimization strategies of transition-metal sulfides for oxygen evolution reaction (OER). By optimizing the structure and chemical states, the intrinsic activity of metal sulfides has been enhanced. Challenges and opportunities in further developing high-activity and long-term durable metal sulfide materials are also discussed. Additionally, problems and future challenges in improving the catalytic performance of metal sulfide materials are presented.

Deep Eutectic Solvents: A Review of Fundamentals and Applications

Benworth B. Hansen et al.

Summary: Deep eutectic solvents (DESs) exhibit significant depressions in melting points and tunable physicochemical properties, but there is still a lack of predictive understanding of their microscopic mechanisms and structure-property relationships. Research on complex hydrogen bonding is crucial for a deeper understanding and development of fundamental frameworks for DESs.
