Heterogeneous Ni-Ru/H-ZSM-5 one-pot catalytic conversion of lignin into monophenols

Feng Lin et al.

Summary: This study successfully converted straw lignin into valuable monophenols using a catalyst with Ni and Ru bimetals supported by H-ZSM-5, with a conversion rate of 88.1%. By adjusting the metal content and the synergy of the catalytic system, the cleavage of C-C and C-O bonds in lignin was achieved, providing a new approach for high-performance catalytic degradation of lignin.
