Fabrication of Au Nanoparticle Arrays on Flexible Substrate for Tunable Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance

Zilun Tang et al.

Summary: AuNP arrays on SMPU substrates were used for tunable LSPR, with LSPR increasing with negative bending and decreasing with positive bending. Mechanical uniaxial tension led to an initial increase followed by a decrease in LSPR. The resulting films showed excellent performance in SERS applications.

Surface Plasmon Resonance Field-Enhanced Fluorescence Properties of Gold Quantum Dots on Polyelectrolyte Multilayers and Their H2O2 Sensor Application

Patrawadee Yaiwong et al.

Summary: The research focuses on studying surface plasmon field-enhanced fluorescence emission from gold quantum dots on an aluminum thin film coated with PDADMAC/PSS multilayers. The fluorescence intensity of the AuQDs increases as the number of PDADMAC/PSS bilayers increases, until the optimal distance between the AuQDs and the aluminum layers is reached. Additionally, the coating of silver nanoprisms onto the AuQDs allows for H2O2 sensing, with a decrease in fluorescence intensity observed due to energy transfer to the AgNPrs, and subsequent recovery upon injection of a H2O2 solution.

Mechanically Tunable Lattice-Plasmon Resonances by Templated Self-Assembled Superlattices for Multi-Wavelength Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy

Mathias Charconnet et al.

Summary: This study demonstrates the fabrication of superlattices by templated self-assembly of gold nanoparticles on a flexible support, with tunable lattice-plasmon resonances by means of macroscopic strain. It shows that the highest SERS performance is achieved by matching the lattice plasmon mode to the excitation wavelength, by post-assembly fine-tuning of long-range structural parameters. Both asymmetric and symmetric lattice deformations can be used to adapt a single lattice structure to both red-shifted and blue-shifted excitation lines.
