By using keratin as a protein component, stable Fe3O4-based MNP embedded keratin-Cu-3(PO4)(2) nanoflowers were constructed, showing excellent enzymic catalytic activity. This approach was successfully applied to colorimetric determination of glucose in human serum, providing a novel method for glucose detection.
