Synthesis and Characterization of Indium Tin Oxide Nanowires with Surface Modification of Silver Nanoparticles by Electrochemical Method

Shu-Meng Yang et al.

Summary: In this study, high-density and crystalline indium tin oxide nanowires (ITO NWs) were synthesized by chemical vapor deposition, and silver nanoparticles were decorated on the surface of the NWs using an electrochemical method. The ITO NWs exhibited visible light-emitting properties and high resistivity, indicating their potential application in electronic and optoelectronic devices.

Effect of plasma power on the structural properties of tin oxide prepared by plasma-enhanced atomic layer deposition

Chia-Hsun Hsu et al.

Summary: In this study, SnO2 films were prepared using PEALD with TDMA-Sn as the metal source and O-2/Ar mixture as the oxidant. It was found that plasma power significantly influences the properties of the SnO2 films, with 1500 W being the optimal power. Lower and higher powers result in unwanted Sn3O4 formation and reduced film quality.

Carbon content in PEALD-In2O3 thin films impact to its electrical and structural properties

Summary: This paper investigates the optical, structural, and electrical properties of PEALD In2O3 thin films under different annealing temperatures. The experimental results show that annealing treatment can remove oxygen defects and carbon impurities in the films, affecting the electrical conductivity of the films.

Chemical Reaction and Ion Bombardment Effects of Plasma Radicals on Optoelectrical Properties of SnO2 Thin Films via Atomic Layer Deposition

Pao-Hsun Huang et al.

Summary: The study explores the impact of radical intensity on the deposition mechanism, optical, and electrical properties of tin oxide (SnO2) thin films. Adequate intensities of Ar* and O* at 1500W power lead to the highest O-V ratio, narrowest band gap, and densest film structure. Increasing plasma power enhances carrier concentration while powers beyond 1500W increase resistivity due to removal of O-V and significant Ar* bombardment.

In2O3 film prepared by a PEALD process with balanced oxygen radical supply and ion bombardment damage

Ming-Jie Zhao et al.

Summary: In this study, In2O3 film was prepared by ALD enhanced with remote O2 plasma, showing that the growth rate and optical properties can be tuned by adjusting the plasma duration. The early stage of the plasma pulse led to increased growth rate and carrier mobility, while the later stage resulted in saturation of growth rate due to ion bombardment effects creating oxygen vacancy defects and altering carrier concentration and optical properties.
