K-means clustering for the aggregation of HFLTS possibility distributions: N-two-stage algorithmic paradigm

Summary: The use of hesitant fuzzy linguistic term sets in fuzzy decision making is on the rise, and aggregating HFLTSs and their extensions has become crucial for decision-making processes. This study proposes a new N2S-KMC algorithmic aggregation paradigm, which overcomes previous performance limitations by reducing cardinality in the first stage and surpasses existing methods using the similarity-measure-based K-means clustering algorithm in the subsequent stage. Experimental results demonstrate that this new approach outperforms previous methods in terms of runtime and memory usage.
