Assessment of an In-House Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay and IgG Avidity Test Based on SAG1 and GRA7 Proteins for Discriminating between Acute and Chronic Toxoplasmosis in Humans

Summary: An in-house enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was developed to diagnose acute and chronic toxoplasmosis, utilizing various Toxoplasma gondii antigens. Performance comparison showed that the combination of SAG1 and GRA7 antigens (SAG1+GRA7) had the highest specificity and sensitivity for serodiagnosis.
