Image Analysis of Adventitious Root Quality in Wild Sage and Glossy Abelia Cuttings after Application of Different Indole-3-Butyric Acid Concentrations

Summary: The aim of this study was to optimize stem cutting propagation protocols for wild sage and glossy abelia autumn, and assess the effects of different IBA concentrations and cultivars on adventitious root (AR) quality using image analysis. The results showed that the IBA concentration is an important factor determining AR quality in both taxa, and the sensitivity to IBA dosage varies among species and their cultivars.

Iron Chelate Improves Rooting in Indole-3-Butyric Acid-Treated Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) Stem Cuttings

Summary: This study assessed the effect of Fe(III)-EDDHA on the rooting and growth of hardwood cuttings of Rosmarinus officinalis. The results showed that low concentrations of Fe(III)-EDDHA (5-20 μM) promoted root emergence, improved root and shoot biomass, increased leaf photosynthetic pigment concentrations, and enhanced survival percentage.

Shoot cuttings and in vitro cultures were used for propagation, and different conditions and mediums were tested for rooting and shoot formation. The research successfully achieved rosemary plantlets with roots formed in vitro and acclimatized them in a greenhouse environment.

No Effect of Biostimulants on the Growth, Yield and Nutritional Value of Shallots Grown for Bunch Harvest

Summary: This study evaluates the effect of selected biostimulants on the biometric parameters, yield, and nutritional value of shallot bulbs and leaves. The results show that shallot leaves have higher levels of certain nutrients compared to bulbs, and the use of Effective Microorganisms as a biostimulant leads to the highest accumulation of minerals. However, the biostimulants have no positive effect on reducing nitrate content and have a negative impact on the yield of shallots.

Effects of Auxin (Indole-3-butyric Acid) on Adventitious Root Formation in Peach-Based Prunus Rootstocks
