Can we understand the decay width of the Tcc+ state?

Xi-Zhe Ling et al.

Summary: Inspired by the recent discovery of a doubly charmed tetraquark state T-cc(+) by the LHCb Collaboration, this study investigates the decay width of T-cc(+) using the effective Lagrangian approach and assumes it to be an isoscalar DD* molecule. The results show that both T-cc -> DD pi and T-cc -> DD gamma contribute to the decay width, with the former being dominant.

X (3872) production in relativistic heavy-ion collisions

Baoyi Chen et al.

Summary: Heavy-ion collisions provide a unique opportunity to study the nature of X(3872). Using the Langevin equation and instant coalescence model (LICM), this study investigates the centrality and momentum dependence of X(3872) in heavy-ion collisions. The results show that the total yield of tetraquarks is several times larger than the molecular production in these collisions.

Pole analysis on the doubly charmed meson in D0D0π+ mass spectrum

Ling-Yun Dai et al.

Summary: The scattering amplitudes of (DD0)-D-0 pi(+)- D*D-+(0) coupled channels are studied in this paper using the K matrix and the Chew-Mandelstam formalism. The (DD0)-D-0 pi(+) invariant mass spectrum of LHCb is fitted and the pole parameters of T-cc(+) are extracted. The analysis suggests that T-cc(+) may originate from a virtual state of D*D-+(0) and form due to the attractive interaction between D-0 and D*(+) and the coupling to the (DD0)-D-0 pi(+) channel.

Interactions of the doubly charmed state Tcc+ with a hadronic medium

L. M. Abreu et al.

Summary: In this study, we calculate the cross sections of various processes related to T-cc(+)pi and T-cc(+)rho -> D-(*()) D-(*()) reactions. We employ effective Lagrangians and QCD sum rules to calculate the form factors and find that the absorption cross sections are larger than the production ones. We compare our results with a previous estimate and observe a significant difference, with our cross sections being one order of magnitude smaller.

Subleading contributions to the decay width of the Tcc+ tetraquark

Mao-Jun Yan et al.

Summary: The LHCb Collaboration has recently announced the discovery of the T-cc(+) tetraquark, which is only a few hundred keV below the D*+D-0 threshold. It is expected to have a molecular component, and theoretical predictions can be made accurately due to the separation of scales. The important decay channels include D+D-0 pi(0), (DD0)-D-0 pi(+), and D+D-0 gamma. The mass and width of the T-cc(+) tetraquark depend on the resonance profile due to its closeness to threshold.

Coupled-channel approach to Tcc+ including three-body effects

Meng-Lin Du et al.

Summary: In this study, a coupled-channel approach is applied to investigate the charged tetraquark state T-cc(+) recently discovered by the LHCb Collaboration. The observed line shape in the three-body (DD0)-D-0 pi(+) channel is fitted to determine the parameters of the interaction. Special attention is paid to the three-body dynamics in the T-cc(+) and it is argued that considering both the pion exchange between the D and D* mesons and the finite D* width is essential for a self-consistent approach. It is found that the T-cc(+) is a hadronic molecule generated by the interactions in the D*D-+(0) and D*D-0(+) channels, with a compositeness parameter close to unity. Additionally, a predicted isoscalar D* D* molecular partner of the T-cc(+) is proposed under certain assumptions.

Observation of Multiplicity Dependent Prompt χc1 (3872) and ψ (2S) Production in pp Collisions

R. Aaij et al.

Summary: The production of chi(c1)(3872) and psi(2S) hadrons in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 8 TeV was studied, showing that the prompt production fraction decreases with increasing charged particle multiplicity. The ratio of chi(c1)(3872) to psi(2S) cross sections also decreases with multiplicity for promptly produced particles, while no significant dependence on multiplicity was observed for particles produced away from the collision vertex in b-hadron decays.

Production of doubly charmed exotic hadrons in heavy ion collisions

Yuanyuan Hu et al.

Summary: This paper demonstrates how heavy ion collisions can serve as a powerful platform for studying doubly charmed exotic hadrons, providing valuable insights into the dynamics of hadron structures in a charm-rich environment. The yields of T-cc(+) and its isospin partners in Pb-Pb collisions show significant enhancements compared to proton-proton collisions. The results on rapidity, transverse momentum dependence, and elliptic flow coefficient can be further tested by future experimental measurements.

D0D0 π+ mass distribution in the production of the Tcc exotic state

A. Feijoo et al.

Summary: In this study, a unitary coupled channel analysis was performed on the interaction of the D*D-+(0), D*D-0(+) channels, revealing a state that is barely bound and very close to isospin I = 0. Using experimental data as input, the width of the state and the (DD0π-)-D0+ mass distribution were obtained, showing good agreement with results from other data analyses. When considering experimental resolution, the width of the state was found to be about 43 keV, a significant difference from the initial findings.

Color and baryon number fluctuation of preconfinement system in production process and Tcc structure

Summary: This study suggests investigating the production mechanism and properties of the recently observed T-cc resonance to probe its structure. The similarity between T-cc and Xi(cc) can be determined by examining their production properties and kinematics spectra. Additionally, measuring the momentum correlation of DD* can help determine if T-cc is produced as a hadron molecule. The current cross-section calculations using a nonrelativistic hadron molecule model are significantly lower than experimental measurements.

Production of X(3872) at high multiplicity

Summary: The dependence of X(3872) meson production on hadron multiplicity in pp collisions is used as evidence against X being a charm-meson molecule, but the argument is based on an incorrect assumption. The modified comover interaction model fits data on the multiplicity dependence of X an psi(2S) production well, supporting the idea that X is a loosely bound charm-meson molecule.

Galilean-invariant effective field theory for the X(3872) at next-to-leading order

Eric Braaten et al.

Summary: XEFT is a low-energy effective field theory for charm mesons and pions that systematically improves the description of the X(3872) resonance. A new formulation and renormalization scheme have been introduced to simplify calculations in XEFT, which involve a new dynamical field for a pair of charm mesons and a subtraction of amplitudes at the complex D*(0)-(D) over bar (0) threshold. These are illustrated by calculating the complex pole energy of X and the D*(0)-(D) over bar (0) scattering amplitude to next-to-leading order using Galilean-invariant XEFT.
