In this study, we investigate the properties and masses of Xi(b)(6100) and its partner states using the methods of QCD sum rules and light-cone sum rules within the framework of heavy quark effective theory. Our results suggest that Xi(b)(6100) can be interpreted as a P-wave bottom baryon and has a partner state labeled as Xi(b)(1/2(-)). Additionally, lambda(b)(5912) and lambda(b)(5920) are identified as partner states of Xi(b)(6100) with J(P) = 1/2(-) and 3/2(-), respectively, and other charmed partner states are also discussed.
We study the Xi(b)(6100) using the methods of QCD sum rules and light-cone sum rules within the framework of heavy quark effective theory. Our results suggest that the Xi(b)(6100) can be well interpreted as the P -wave bottom baryon of J(P) = 3/2(-), belonging to the SU(3) flavor 3 over bar(F) representation. It has a partner state of J(P) =1/2(-), labeled as Xi(b)(1/2(-)), whose mass and width are predicted to be m(Xi b)(1/2(-)) = 6.08(-0.11)(+0.13) GeV and gamma(Xi b)(1/2(-))4(-4+29) MeV, respectively, with the mass splitting delta M = m(Xi b(6100)) - m(Xi b(1/2-) )= 9 +/- 3 MeV. We propose to search for it in the Xi(c)(1/2(-)) -> Xi '(b)pi decay channel. Our results also suggest that the lambda(b)(5912) and lambda(b)(5920) are their partner states with J(P) = 1/2(-) and 3/2(-), respectively, and, moreover, the lambda(c)(2595), lambda(c)(2625), Xi(c)(2790), and Xi(c)(2815) are their charmed partner states.
