Multimodal Imaging Features of Focal Scleral Nodule

Victor Manuel Asensio-Sanchez et al.

Summary: This article presents a case of a 63-year-old woman with a yellow-white mass in the inferior juxtapapillary region discovered during routine ocular examination, which was diagnosed as solitary idiopathic choroiditis (SIC). SIC is a rare condition of unknown origin that can be mistaken for inflammatory processes or intraocular tumors. The diagnosis of SIC is established through clinical suspicion and multimodal imaging, leading to its renaming as focal scleral nodule due to its scleral location.
