Summary: In aquatic animals, hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) can cause liver tissue toxicity, oxidative damage, inflammatory response, and apoptosis. This study found that Sanguinarine (SAN) can alleviate H2O2-induced liver injury in rice field eel by improving antioxidant capacity, alleviating inflammatory response, and inhibiting apoptosis. The effect of SAN supplementation at a dose of 750 μg/kg is better than 375 μg/kg.

Summary: The study found that Bacillus subtilis has positive effects on grass carp fed a high-fat diet, improving fish growth and serum indices, reducing liver lipid deposition, and preventing fatty liver disease. In addition, B. subtilis also altered the gut microbiota composition of grass carp fed a high-fat diet, making it more similar to that of grass carp on a normal diet.
