Towards conceptual convergence: A systematic review of psychological resilience in family caregivers of persons living with chronic neurological conditions

Summary: The systematic review examined the origins and conceptualizations of resilience, current resilience measurement tools, and correlates, predictors, and outcomes of resilience in family caregivers of persons with CNCs. Results showed that resilience is related to healthy functioning indicators and buffers against negative outcomes, with discrepancies found in the interaction between resilience and demographic, sociocultural, and environmental factors.
