One-loop explicit expressions for the gluon Nielsen identity in the screened massive expansion formalism for Yang-Mills theory are derived. The gauge-parameter-independence of the poles and residues is discussed in both a strict perturbative context and extended resummation schemes. Although no exact formal proof was reached by the approximate resummation schemes, some evidence is gathered in favor of an exact invariance of the phase, consistent with previous numerical studies.
