This study aimed to investigate the potential changes in the relationship between peripheral and central circulation dynamics caused by SARS-CoV-2 infection. The results showed that coronavirus disease 2019 can affect the energy of the Low Frequency band [0.040-.15]Hz in the plethysmographic signal.
The aim of this study was to investigate possible alterations in the relationship between peripheral and central circulation dynamics caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection. Clinical Relevance Results show how coronavirus disease 2019 can affect the energy of the Low Frequency band [0.040-.15]Hz of the plethysmographic signal.
